McCarran International Airport is the main gateway to Las Vegas, only 5 miles south of Las Vegas' business district and immediately east of the southern end of the Strip. The Airport welcomes just over 44m passengers through its doors annually, and is connected by nonstop and direct flights to multiple locations in the USA and a select of international destinations. For domestic flights, Allegiant Air and Southwest Airlines are the airport's primary operators. Other airlines offering scheduled services to McCarran International Airport include British Airways, Continental Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airlines and United.
Getting from the airport to your hotel can be done by bus and airport shuttle companies. The CAT 108 bus runs from the airport along Paradise Road to right outside the Convention Center and the LV Hilton, taking about 20-25 minutes.

Bus
While there are no train services to Las Vegas, it is possible to travel with Amtrak to destinations in California and Arizona, then connect to Vegas by means of a Greyhound bus. Bus services are available between Las Vegas and major cities like Phoenix, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
Getting Around Las Vegas
One of the easiest ways to get around is by taxi. The cab driver is required to turn on the meter and to take the shortest route to your destination. There is a surcharge for rides originating at the airport, but not for extra passengers.

The city bus line Citizens Area Transit operates 49 routes throughout the city. Most routes operate 5:30AM-1:30AM daily. The fare is $2 for adults and $1 for kids and seniors for all residential routes.
